A 5-year-old girl has died after a weekend UTV accident in Langlade County.
A DNR spokesperson tells NewsChannel 7 the girl was riding the UTV, or Utility Task Vehicle, with a 61-year-old man when it crashed and both people were thrown from the vehicle. The accident happened Sunday afternoon about 9 miles east of Antigo.
The man was not seriously injured. The girl was transported to a Marshfield hospital where she later died.
The crash remains under investigation by the DNR. At this time they are not saying who was driving the UTV.
