Wisconsin Clean Cities - Southeast Area (WCC-SEA) is hosting workshop focused on compressed natural gas (CNG) on October 18, 2012. The workshop is free to attend and will be held from 1pm - 5pm at Liberty Hall Banquet and Conference Center, located 800 Eisenhower Dr. in Kimberly.
The workshop will feature a presentation by U.S. Venture on their CNG fuel and the GAIN Clean Fuel experience alongside Joe Veriha of Veriha Trucking who has recently purchased ten CNG trucks. Also speaking at the event will be Truck Country/Freightliner and Wisconsin Kenworth on the trucks available to purchase that run on CNG, and Cummins NPower who will present on CNG engines and the cost savings of fueling your fleet on CNG.
According to a press release from WCC-SEA, compressed natural gas is 99% a North American fuel that significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
