Fall Chairlift Rides Begin Saturday at Granite Peak

Two of central Wisconsin's ski hills are are letting the public get a bird's eye view of the changing fall foliage.

Beginning this weekend, Granite Peak Ski Area will offer fall chairlift rides for $9 per person. Children under 5 are free. Rides will be offered Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. the weekends of Sept. 28-29, Oct. 5-6, and Oct. 12-13.

The chairlift rides begin at the base of the Granite Peak. Granite Peak is located at 3605 N Mountain Road Wausau.

On October 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m, Bruce Mound in Clark County will also offer fall chairlift rides. Cost is $5 round-trip or free when you buy your season pass that day.

Bruce Mound is located at N791 Bruce Mound Avenue in Merrillan.
