Crews Respond to Water Main Break on Hwy 45 Near Eagle River

North and southbound lanes of Highway 45 near 4th Street in Eagle River remain closed as crews work to repair a water main break.

The break occurred around 9:30 am Saturday morning. Eagle River Light and Water and the Vilas County Sheriff's Department responded to the break.

A Deputy with the Vilas County Sheriff's Department tells NewsChannel 7 it will likely take until mid-afternoon or later before the break is repaired and both lanes of Highway 45 re-opened.
