No Injuries in Car vs. Semi Accident on Co. Hwy. J
No one was hurt in a car vs. semi accident on Friday night. It happened just east of Wausau near Co. Hwy. J and Tower Road at about 5:45 p.m.
The Marathon Co. Sheriff's Dept. says the driver of the vehicle attempted to avoid hitting a deer, that's when a logging truck behind the vehicle swerved to avoid a collision and tipped over on its side spilling some logs onto the road.
The crash backed up traffic in both north and south bound lanes of Hwy. J. The road has since been cleared and traffic is moving again.
One of our reporters on the scene tells us the jaws of life were used to get a person out of the semi.
