UPDATE: Children Find Decomposed Body in Kenosha, Autopsy Complete

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) -- Police say children playing on the rocks along the Lake Michigan shoreline in Kenosha discovered a decomposed body.

Authorities are working to identify the body found near the Anderson Arts Center Wednesday afternoon. Investigators were unable to initially determine the gender of the unclothed body, but later said it could be an adult male.

Kenosha County Medical Examiner Patrice Hall tells the Kenosha News investigators will be combing missing person reports in hope of finding an identity. An autopsy was completed Thursday but Kenosha police say the body is still unidentified.

Police say the person could have been dead between a month and three months. There is no evidence of foul play, but more tests are being done to help determine the cause of death.
