A 40-year-old man accused of stealing about 80 bras from the Wisconsin River Bridge in Merrill was charged with disorderly conduct.
The bras were strung along the bridge as part of a fundraiser for Relay for Life earlier this month.
The Merrill Police Chief tells NewsChannel 7, dispatch received a call around 1 a.m. Tuesday reporting a man taking the bras down from the bridge. Christopher Tveten was arrested a short time later.
Tveten is free on a $1,000 signature bond.
Police have not determined motive and will leave it up to the organization if they want to press additional charges.
