In 1993, a group of high school teachers and students in Wausau organized to produce a Shakespearean play.

20 years later, the Central Wisconsin Educational Theatre Alliance has grown to include children's theater and several well known Broadway musicals. Their 20th anniversary production of "Les Misérables" opens Thursday night. Thursday morning cast members Lucas Gaewski, Brett Strasser and Brogan Resch stopped by to discuss their characters.

Tickets cost $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors (62 and older.) Performances will be held at the DC Everest Senior High Theater:
