Boy, 6, Struck and Killed in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Authorities say a child has been struck and killed in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee police say the 6-year-old boy was struck about 7 a.m. Thursday as he crossed a north side street in the middle of the block. Authorities say the 58-year-old female driver that struck the boy is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

The boy died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
