BELOIT, Wis. (AP) -- Beloit police are looking for a suspect in a fatal weekend shooting.
Officers and paramedics responded to a residential property Sunday about 11 a.m. where a 19-year-old Chicago man with multiple gunshot wounds was found in a yard. Police say Ricky Sims was taken to Beloit Hospital where he died during surgery.
Investigators say the suspect and victim had been in two separate vehicles just before the shooting. Police say the 28-year-old man from Harvey, Ill., is also a suspect in an April attempted homicide case in Beloit.
