We may have been dealing with some wet weather today, but that didn't stop the Wisconsin Kiters Club from having a little fun.
Despite the wind and rain, the group made their 5th straight appearance at Balloon & Rib Fest in Wausau. Although the group usually likes to put on a show, they weren't able to fly as many kites this year because of the weather.
Edward Grys, the vice president of the Wisconsin Kite Club, said, "Last year we had almost a perfect day. The winds were very smooth just the right amount of wind... And then you get days like today where there's hardly any wind and we do a lot of socializing and ground displays."
If you haven't made it to Balloon & Rib Fest yet, there's still time! The Festival doesn't end until Sunday at noon.
