Authorities say they have recovered the body of 48-year-old Paul Locher.
According to Lt. Knoeck of the Marathon County Sheriff's Department, the body of the missing fisherman has been recovered. The lieutenant says the body was pulled from the Big Eau Pleine flowage at 7:45 Saturday morning. According to authorities, the body was recovered near where the boat was found Thursday morning.
Locher had been missing since Wednesday evening when he hadn't returned home from an afternoon fishing trip. The search brought in crews from a variety of agencies, including the Marathon County Dive Team.
An autopsy is planed for sometime in the coming days. Alcohol is not thought to be a factor at this time.
