A 26-year-old Antigo man is facing criminal charges after he's accused firing a gun out his apartment window, striking four vehicles and a nearby building.
The investigation began November 12 when an officer responded to CoVantage Credit Union for a property damage complaint. Employees said a vehicle belonging to the credit union had a flat tire, later determined to be caused by a bullet.
A day later, employees noticed another vehicle belonging to the credit union had bullet holes to the fender, trim and a rear window. Investigators also discovered additional damage to the drive-thru building and two other vehicles.
According to the criminal complaint, based on the angle of the damage, officers determined the suspect would have been in the upstairs of a nearby apartment building.
Cory Myers, 26, was questioned and arrested.
Inside his apartment, investigators located and seized several hundred .22 caliber bullets, an AR – 15 rifle (223 caliber), a Chinese SKS rifle (7.62 X39 caliber) and a Strum Ruger pistol in 45 ACP caliber.
Myers is charged with recklessly endangering safety and criminal damage to property.
He's free on a $2,500 cash bond.
