Three people sustained minor injuries Tuesday morning when an ambulance slid off the road in Chippewa County.
According to WEAU-TV, the Cornell Ambulance responded to a person having chest pain on Baribeau Road in Cornell around 7 am. Crews loaded the patient into the ambulance, and started heading to the hospital. As the ambulance approached intersection of Baribeau and Johnson Road, it slid down a hill, went off the road, and hit some trees.
The driver, an EMT, and the patient were injured, however their injuries are believed to be not life-threatening.
