Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Saturday that has caused a power-outage to hundreds of people in Wausau.

Around 1 p.m., authorities say a vehicle rear-ended a car near the intersection of Bridge Street and 11th Avenue.

The first vehicle continued down the road, and slammed into a telephone pole at Bridge Street and 10th Avenue.

The accident has knocked out power to 751 people in Wausau's west side.

Law enforcement says it will be several hours before Wisconsin Public Service Corp. crews can restore the power and replace the pole.

Three people were taken to Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, and injuries appear to be minor.
