The streets of Marathon City are back to normal Saturday after being taken over in the afternoon by a bunch of toddlers.

Hundreds of kids and their parents took part in the Kiddie Day Parade, part of the 44th Annual Marathon Fun Days.

The weekend-long event includes a golf tournament, beer gardens, polka bands and the long-time favorite, Kiddie Parade.

"We started the Kiddie Day Parade probably 25-30 years ago. We didn't start it from the beginning, but probably 25-30 years ago," said Bob Gage, Marathon Days parade chairman.

Marathon Fun Days has activities through Labor Day.

Gage says all the proceeds from the event go to help local organizations like the Fire Department and high school.
