Democratic vice presidential nominee John Edwards is scheduled to come through Wausau and Stevens Point on Friday, but some of his plans are being kept under wraps.

At 5:30 p.m. Friday in Stevens Point, Edwards will speak at a rally in Pfiffner Park that's open to the public. Campaign officials expect a huge turnout which has put volunteers at the local Kerry-Edwards headquarters, like Jennifer Young, in high gear.

"It's gotten very exciting. My husband sent out e-mails last night and we got some phone calls today saying, when you know something, please let us know."

Stevens Point is where you'll have to head if you want to see Edwards. Though he will stop in Wausau, campaign officials say he'll meet with only about 10 invited guests and it will not be open to the public.
