The U.S. House has passed a bill giving home buyers an extra three months to complete their purchases and still qualify for a generous tax credit.
Under current law, home buyers who signed purchase agreements by April 30 have until Wednesday to close on the sale.
The bill which still has to be approved by the senate, would give buyers until September 30 to complete their purchases.
