Crisis Simulation Held at Local High School

If you see a lot of squad cars and officials around Stevens Point Area Senior High on Friday, it's ok.

More than 40 officers and deputies from the Point Police and the Portage County Sheriff's Departments will take part in a crisis training session.

They'll be put through a scenario that involves and armed intruder inside the school who threatens to release hazardous materials.

Some students and school administrators are also expected to role-play in the exercise.

It's being funded by a homeland security federal grant.
