Updated: Wed 5:18 PM, Aug 04, 2004

Another severe storm in Wisconsin is leaving a trail of damage in its tracks.

Storms ripped through parts of southern Wisconsin Tuesday night. They damaged homes and crops and left thousands without power.

Emergency management officials say nearly 100 homes in that region were damaged by hail. Some of it was reportedly the size of softballs.

Crews have been working since Tuesday night to restore the electricity to nearly 5,000 customers.
