The Wisconsin Valley Fair kicked off at noon Tuesday at Marathon Park in Wausau.
The fair lasts through Sunday and executive secretary Jayme Buttke says they're hoping the weather won't be a factor like it has been in the past.
"The last two years we've run into so much trouble with weather, you're at the mercy of weather and we're so happy we have a nice forecast and we hope it'll stay true."
Buttke says the fair's biggest draws will be the musical acts performing every night in the grandstands. The Beach Boys kicked things off Tuesday.
