The UW system is a step closer to finding a new president. The Board of Regents Friday released a list of the four finalists for the job.
They are former WI Congressman Steve Gunderson, UW Extension Chancellor Kevin Reilly, Texas Tech University System Chancellor David Smith and State University of New York Chancellor Elizabeth Capaldi.
A search committee submitted the short list to a selection panel Friday. The finalists will be interviewed later this month.
The current UW System President, Katherine Lyall is retiring.
