This weekend is Wausau's Chalk It Up Festival. The sidewalks of the 400 block in Wausau will be filled with chalk drawings.
Wednesday, one of the featured artists, Michael Kirby, held free lessons on the art of chalk art.
"If you want that blue to be green, I don't care. If you want her hair to be purple, fine. It's your choice, there's no rules."
If you'd like to see the chalk art this weekend, the artists will be working from 8 to 6 on Saturday, and 8 to 4 on Sunday.
