If you have been following NewsChannel 7’s special series of reports on the Good News Project’s work in the West Indies, you may feel inspired to help them out.

The Good News Projects accepts a wide variety of donations – from money to school supplies and medical supplies. Their only request is that any second-hand items brought in be gently-used.

You can find a list of items the organization is looking to ship down to the West Indies on their wish list. You can find a link to the list below.

Or, if you just want to bring in some items you think the organization could use, you can do that knowing that nothing you donate will go to waste. Any items given to the Good News Project that can not be shipped to the West Indies (for instance, winter clothing) are passed onto other Wausau area non-profits, like the Women’s Community and Neighbor’s Place.

The Good News Project accepts donations year round. You just have to bring them to their warehouse, located at 1106 5th Street in Wausau, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
