The Marinette man convicted of driving drunk in a crash that killed five people will learn how long he'll spend behind bars Tuesday.
40-year-old Richard Powell pleaded no contest to 5 felony charges last December. The judge dismissed 16 others as part of the deal.
The accident happened in the Town of Peshtigo last January.
Officials say Powell's pick up was going more than 30 miles per hour over the speeding limit when it hit a car driven by a 44-year-old man and his four children.
They all died instantly.

So the dead driver ran the stop sign? Powell was still going over 30 mph. Still his fault.

It amazes me that no one is taking into account that the driver of the vehicle that was hit ran the stop sign onto the highway right in front of the pickup truck. This could have happened to anyone!

This is crazy! No one deserves to die due to a dumb person driving recklessly. This man deserves to rot in jail.
