Snowmobile trails in Vilas County are scheduled to open on Wednesday, December 16th.

That's according to a press release sent by the Vilas County Forestry, Land & Recreation Department.

Officials strongly recommend not crossing any area lake until the route across the lakes have been clearly marked and safe to travel on.
