Women learning to shoot both firearms and cameras were in the woods southwest of Wausau Saturday.
The Women's Outdoor Program made a stop in central Wisconsin, teaching women a number of outdoor activities ranging from hunting to fly-fishing to learning the basics of nature photography.
"The environment is just great because they're learning with other women, so there's no intimidation and it's just a comfortable atmosphere," said Karyl Utke, Women's Outdoor Program.
For a $45 fee, the program provided each woman with the necessary equipment and safety instructions.
