Kids in Marshfield will be surfing the Internet and getting a virtual learning experience thanks to the referendum.
The vote in April gave the district enough money to put brand new computer labs in the elementary schools.
Educators say this is so important because the Internet opens so many doors for kids in education. Besides the technology labs, each school also got a mobile computer lab.
Teachers say when kids work on computers they tend to ask each other for help. And that type of interaction takes learning to the next level.
