You can see the nature at Nine Mile Forest Trail a number of ways, hiking, horseback riding, camping, bird watching, berry picking, cross-country skiing and hunting are all offered there.
But mountain biking season has just kicked off, and Nine Mile offers one of the best trails around. It's known for its premium location, and over the years, the Forestry Department has developed and maintained the trails.
The variety of terrain is what attracts people most to the trail. There are easy smooth tracks for the beginner rider, as well as tricky obstacles for the more experienced. It costs $3 for a day pass and $20 for a season pass.
It's a place for the whole family to come out and enjoy the day.
