To help curb the spread of the H1N1 flu virus, health officials in Marathon County are allowing more people to get the vaccine.
Children 6 months to 4 years old, and children 5 to 18 with chronic medical conditions are being moved to the top of the list of people able to get vaccinated.
Pregnant women, caregivers, and people living with an infant less than 6 months old can a still get the vaccine.
Marathon County held their first community clinic last night in Edgar.
Nurses were prepared to give 300 vaccinations but only 16 were administered.
Health experts say the turn out last night was disappointing but they remain optimistic that the vaccine is getting to those who need it.
"We know that a lot of women who are pregnant were able to get this vaccine through their providers. We're anticipating that populations need has already been meet which allows us to open it up to more children," says Judy Burrows, Director of Chronic Disease and Prevention.
If you still need to get the vaccine, they have clinics available today in Hately and Stratford until 6 p.m.
Between 3 and 400 doses of the vaccine will be available at each location.
The 3,000 additional doses of the vaccine are expected to arrive by the end of the week.
