High school students in Antigo are giving to the poor in a unique way.
It's a food and money drive called "Captain Poultry."
Classes compete to raise the most money.
They get extra points for winning games and dressing up all week.
"We try to encourage students to bring money and we do a penny war and this week we're having dress up days. In order to be counted for your class you have to bring a food item or a dollar," says Megan Hanke, a Sophomore.
Each class has a nominee for "Captain Poultry."
The lucky winner is determined by what class has the most points at the end of the week.
"Captain Poultry" will hand over a check to a local food pantry.
The winner will be announced Friday.
