A traveling replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. is allowing Medford residents to reflect on lives lost during battle.
"The Wall That Heals," was at the middle school today.
It features the names of the heroes who gave their lives for the country.
Charlotte Bolz has four brothers who fought in Vietnam.
She says the memorial means a lot of the community.
"Whenever they come to a display such as this, they are just so appreciative of all this work that everybody does, and appreciates them for all the work they did over there," says Bolz, a Medford resident.
Eighth grade students from Medford Middle School spoke about what the wall meant to them.
"My great uncle, he was in the Vietnam War, and he was a prisoner of war, he was shot, and has received two purple hearts," said Naomi Hartl.
"I guess I'm really proud that i have someone on the wall and have a personal connection with it."
The wall will be in Medford through Sunday.
