Declining school enrollment could have several local sports teams becoming one.
Leaders at Loyal, Greenwood and Granton school districts says they are in the early stages of talks surrounding a sports co-op.
Loyal's superintendent, Graeme Williams says, because fewer students are attending the three schools, some teams don't have enough players.
Several issues like transportation, practice locations and coaching slots would need to be worked out before talks move forward.
The switch will also likely change the size and division of the teams the co-op plays against.
Leaders will discuss the plan at a meeting next week.
