The Raptor Education Group of Antigo is asking for your help.
They want you to save your deer hearts, and donate them to feed their birds.
Their organization cares for hundreds of hurt or abandoned birds every year.
They say deer hearts make a healthy meal for eagles, hawks, falcons, and owls.
"Without these kinds of donations we can easily spend thousands of dollars a month in food bills for our birds, so we really rely on the public for that," says Nicole Swanson with the Raptor Education Group, Inc. or Antigo.
They will be accepting hearts throughout the gun-deer season.
You can drop them off at Zillman's Meat Market in Wausau, Country Fresh Meats In Weston, Ken's in Antigo, and People's Meat Market in Stevens Point.
