About 60 Wisconsin troops deployed to Afghanistan are glad to be back home.

The members of the 961st Engineer Battalion at the U.S. Reserve Center had a happy homecoming in Milwaukee Sunday.

The troops spent a year overseas, helping to build roads, landing strips and utilities.

22-year-old Corporal Melissa Buchholz was greeted by husband Adam Buchholz of Fond du Lac. He says she was able to come home in 2005 for their wedding but she had to leave the next day for training.

When the bus carrying the troops arrived, Melissa sought out her husband and greeted him with a whisper, saying, "Oh, I've missed you."
