Several hundred residents in northern Wisconsin will be waking up in the dark, Wednesday.
WPSC says 10,000 people in northern Wisconsin were without power at some point on Monday.
Crews worked late into Monday evening trying to restore power, but residents in Minocqua, Sturgeon Bay, Wausaukee and Wabeno are still reporting outages, with the most in Wabeno.
High winds and rain are to blame.
Wind gusts knocked down trees in Manitowoc County.
The wind also caused problems for drivers, especially truck drivers.
One trucker says his company prohibits drivers from staying on the road when wind gusts are over 25 mph.
Monday, gusts were up to 40 mph.
