A major traffic route through central Wisconsin was closed Monday morning.
A tanker truck loaded with gasoline overturned on Interstate 39-Highway 51 near Mosinee, spilling about 1,200 gallons of gas.
Hazmat crews are on the scene -- and officials have closed the roadway between Highway 153 at Mosinee and Highway 34 at Knowlton.
Traffic is being rerouted on Old Highway 51.
The tanker overturned about one a.m. And, Marathon County sheriff's authorities say the earliest the interstate could open is late Monday morning.
