The Clark County man charged with shooting one man in the hand and suspected of murdering a teen was back in court.
Jeffry Schultz did not speak in the courtroom. So according to law, the judge entered a not guilty plea in for him.
According to court records Schultz was in a car with two other men July 15 in rural Colby and there was a fight about drug money.
One man was shot in the hand and another man was found dead two weeks later in a wooded area. Police believe Schultz shot Falconer, the man found dead, but homicide charges haven't been filed.
The District Attorney says he wants to wait for the final autopsy report and for the reports from the crime lab before he makes any more charges.
Schultz is in Clark County jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
