Right now, shelves at the Neighbor's Place in Wausau are full. Workers say they usually see an increase in donations around the holidays, but they tend to fall off towards the end of winter.

“When we get towards the end of February and into March, there'll be less and less available. The other thing I think all of us are worried about is we've seen an increase in need,” says Tom Rau, Director of Neighbor’s Place.

Rau says last year about 180 families a week came to the neighbor's place. This year the number is closer to 250. He says that's why it's important to give what you can all year round.
