The Hodag Country Festival kicks off tomorrow in Rhinelander.
But before the fun can begin, people are trying to find the perfect place to be once the music starts.
There's no question where most wanted to be.
"We would like to get close to the stage. The closer to the stage the better," said April Grinwald of Wausau.
"And we don't want to be behind any people that do not want to stand up and have fun."
Robert Stephens of Wausau agrees.
"We want something close to the stage, so we can view the performer, see the show, view everything that is going on, interact with friends, have a good time," said Stephens.
Kayla Lehrer, who is making her first trip to the Hodag Festival, had other reasons why she wanted to be close to the stage.
"We want front row, so we can see really hot guys. Really hot guys," said Lehrer.
Country music enthusiasts found fun ways to pass the time while they were waiting in line.
"We are actually sending Facebook pictures to a cousin who is in Afghanistan," said Dawn Smith of Fond Du Lac.
When the gates finally opened, spectators couldn't help but be thrilled.
"Oh it's so great! Oh my God I'm so excited," said Stephanie Schmidt of Crandon.
"Pretty awesome! Fifth row!" said Lehrer.
Performers taking the stage tomorrow include Glen Campbell, Heidi Newfield and Marty's Party.
