Ashland County District Attorney Sean Duffy will make an announcement about Wisconsin's 7th Congressional District Wednesday. According to a news release, he will appear at Wausau Homes in Rothschild at 9 a.m.

A 2010 run would pit the Republican against Democratic Representative Dave Obey. Rep. Obey has held the seat since 1969.

Duffy starred in the 6th season of MTV's "The Real World."
