Some Green Bay area residents are heartbroken after a friendly deer from the neighborhood died.

Some fed the one-year-old Doe named Carmel in the town of Oneida neighborhood, but others reported her to the DNR for eating plants.

She was taken to a wildlife sanctuary, but was later found dead.

The sanctuary says she probably died of stress.
