Authorities in Your Town, Eagle River are hoping to give out Project Lifesaver Bracelets. They hope the bracelets will help them find those with cognitive disabilities who wander away.

The bracelet has a unique radio frequency, so a search team can positively locate and identify the person who has wandered. To date - every person who has wandered while wearing a bracelet has been found.

"It's a tool this is not a save all end all type of thing this is a tool and given our area where visibility in the woods is so limited and we collect people to do a thorough search of the area can take hours to do that," said Sergeant Carl Gauger with the Vilas County Sheriff's Department.
