A Rhinelander woman will have to stand trial in the death of her daughter.
According to online court records, a judge made the ruling for 21-year old Amanda Bodoh after a preliminary hearing Wednesday morning in Oneida County. Court records say three witnesses took the stand and one invoked his fifth amendment right not to testify at the hearing before the judge made his ruling.
Bodoh faces a charge of felony child neglect in the death of 10-month Payton Lonkoski.
The child's father, 22-year-old Matthew Lonkoski of Rhinelander, is charged with one count of first-degree reckless homicide. He's due in court for a hearing Thursday morning.
Court records say the infant ate a morphine tablet that Lonkoski left on a table at Bodoh's mothe'sr home in Iron River, Michigan last month. The child was found dead at a house in rural Rhinelander two days later.
