A small plane carrying five people made a hard landing Tuesday near the Oshkosh airport.
But everyone walked away. There was only one minor injury.
Experimental Aviation Administration spokesman Dick Knapinski says the 1929 New Standard had just taken off from Wittman Regional Airport when it had problems achieving power and altitude about 10:30 a.m.
He says the plane came down in a grassy area near the airport.
The plane is owned by Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, in Rhinebeck, New York. He says it was hired by the EAA for the summer for people to purchase rides and to be part of an exhibit at an EAA museum.
It was carrying four men and a woman when it went down.
The aircraft was damaged but Knapinski was unsure to what extent.
