Township of Cleveland- Authorities in Jackson County are saying a doctor and his teenage son are the victims of a small plane crash in western Wisconsin.

David Holtrop of Sheboygan and his 16-year-old son, Maxwell, were returning home from a weekend getaway to Minnesota when officials say the single-engine aircraft went down near Black River Falls around 6 p.m. Sunday.

It took search crews about three hours to find the wreckage in a wooded area.

Investigators say they're looking at several factors that may have caused the crash.
