WI State Parks Invite Visitors to Explore the Great Outdoors
Sunday, Wisconsin State Parks waived vehicle admission fees to give visitors an inside look at Mother Nature.

The Wisconsin DNR estimates 14 million visitors make their way through state parks every year.

And during Sunday's annual state park open house... All Wisconsin state parks waived the vehicle admission fee giving visitors a chance to take in the beautiful sights and sounds of Mother Nature.

One of the Ranger Operations at the Rib Mountain State Park says people can expect to see beautiful scenary and depending on the state park fishing, boating, caneoing, camping, biking and skiing. He says there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The standard fee to visit any state park is $5 for an hour, $7 for the day and $25 for a yearly vehicle pass.
