Lawmakers have reached a deal to fix the state's one billion dollar budget deficit.
The plan includes a cut in state aid to local governments and a plan for campaign finance reform.
That campaign finance plan would be funded through a $20 check-off on tax returns.
A conference committee signed the budget-adjustment plan and sent it to the Senate, where a vote is scheduled Wednesday.
If the full legislature approves the plan, the governor still has to approve it and sign it into law.
