Students at D.C. Everest High School are releasing a new book Friday, called Native Nations of Wisconsin.

The book contains stories about Native history, cultures, and traditions of Wisconsin's First Nations, as well as interviews with Ojibwe, Potawatomi, Stockbridge, Oneida, Ho-Chunk and Menominee peoples.

To celebrate the books release, Mountain Bay Elementary School will be holding a Pow-Wow Friday night.

It kicks off with a traditional feast at 5:00 p.m., and then a ceremony releasing the book will be at 6:00.
