Arson suspect Kevin Zarm appeared at the Marathon County Courthouse Tuesday afternoon. Zarm faces 20 new charges including six arson fires. That brings the total 36 counts all together, and 10 arson counts total.

The district attorney also asked for more money to be tacked on to Zarm's bond. The bond was originally set at $1 million and now stands at $1.5 million.

The latest counts of arson involve one of the garage fires that took place on Wausau's east side. Three other fires took place in Schofield, including one at alderman Al Bremer's home. That home was completely destroyed.

Zarm is due back in court Tuesday December 9th at 9 p.m.
